Tools, materials and safer job choices.
Identify tools and materials, compare job options, or research manuals, model numbers, SDS information, permits, codes, hazards, recalls, weather, utility locates and job-site procedures. Construction uses the same monthly scan allowance as your other Second Sight A.I. tools.
Ways to find construction information
Your monthly scan allowance
Shared across Second Sight A.I., including Construction.
Construction
Scan tools and materials. Plan your next step.
Upload Video accepts a short clip (up to 60 seconds / 100 MiB). We prepare six still frames locally for your review. Analyze sends only those frames to AI as one Construction analysis; it does not upload the raw video or analyze audio or continuous motion.
Photo observations are not AR measurements. For any dimension estimate, include a clearly visible ruler or a reference with a known size in the same plane and describe it in Job / task. Without reliable scale, dimensions are unknown. Verify with a physical tape before cutting, ordering or safety-critical work.
Measure one rigid-object boundary to another. This is a camera-derived estimate, not a certified measurement.
Live Capture and Photo work without AR. Analyze a construction tool or material in Construction; a photo alone cannot provide reliable dimensions.
Review a still photo, then choose Analyze to send it to AI. Sign-in and Construction analysis limits apply. For video, only reviewed sample frames are sent; raw video and audio stay on your device.
Measurement help
Use bright light and a textured, stationary surface. Scan slowly, then hold still at each boundary. Move closer instead of zooming. Reflective, transparent, moving, and flexible surfaces can give unreliable estimates. Clothing should lie flat beside a known reference; use a physical tape when precision matters. One length does not identify an object's width, height, area or volume. The AR measurement itself does not upload camera frames. Photo analysis is a separate, explicit action.
